About Chua Cau Dong

Eastern Gate Pagoda, or Chua Cau Dong, is a temple in the Old Quarters of Hanoi. This elaborately ornate temple is said to be nearly a thousand years old. Its statues and stelae date back 400 years.

Getting there

From the north bank of the Ho Hoan Kiem, take Hang Dao Street. Along the way, it changes name to Hang Ngang Street. At the junction with Lang Ong Street, turn left. You will arrive at Chua Cau Dong on the right side of the street.
