About Hanoi Fountain

The Hanoi Fountain is a landmark in the heart of the capital of Vietnam. It is located on a square bordered by Hang Dao Street, Cau Go Street, Dinh Liet Street and Dinh Tien Hoang Street, on the north side of the Ho Hoan Kiem, the Lake of the Returned Sword.

The site of the Hanoi Fountain is where many public celebrations were held, such as the Independence Day celebration, when the square around the fountain becomes a stage for a street party. Visitors to Hanoi are likely to pass by the Hanoi Fountain when they go walking around the Ho Hoan Kiem.

Getting there

The Hanoi Fountain is located on the north side of Ho Hoan Kiem. Locate that lake, then walk to its north side. You will not miss the fountain.
